Privacy Policy

Siesta24 is a collaborative, location-based app for finding vending machines for coffee, snacks, and drinks. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. We do not require registration: you can use the app anonymously.

We do not collect personally identifiable information. We only collect:

• Device location, only if you grant geolocation permission, to center the map and pre-fill the coordinates of your reports
• IP address, in hashed and temporary form, to prevent abuse and spam on reports
• Content of submitted reports (title, coordinates, address, price list, accepted payment methods)
• Anonymous technical data (browser type, operating system) to ensure the service works correctly

Data is used exclusively to: show you vending machines near your location, store and display reports submitted by the community, prevent abuse and spam, and ensure the security and correct operation of the app.

Siesta24 uses only technical cookies strictly necessary for the app to work (e.g. language preference). We do not use profiling or advertising tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Your data is processed by the following providers, acting as data processors: Supabase (database and authentication, EU servers), Vercel (application hosting), Upstash (rate limiting, EU servers). Maps are provided by OpenStreetMap. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) you have the right to:

• Access the data concerning you
• Request deletion of your data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Object to processing or request its restriction
• Lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali)
